Sterling Silver 7-8mm Freshwater Cultured Pearl Pendant, 18"

Nice, simple necklace (not too gaudy) for everyday wear to the office. Chain is a little flimsy (unlike others, mine was not tangled) and pendant is small (as stated by the size). I got this on a lightening deal for $10 (not bad!).

We bought this "Sterling Silver 7-8mm Freshwater Cultured Pearl Pendant" on an Amazon "Lightning Deal", so it really didn't cost us much. That being said, I am very pleased with the quality of the necklace and size of the pearl. The chain is a little thinner than expected, but it is acceptable for a teen (who we bought it for) and it is easy enough to swap out if we want to.

So, here are my observations:

+ Pearl > Good quality and color, no flaws detected
- Chain > Has a good clasp but is a little thin, overall acceptable quality
+ Storage Bag > Looks nice and is good quality

This was a good value and my daughter seems to like it.

Recommended! Note that other reviewers reported flaws in the pearl and knotted chains, but mine was just fine (not sure if I just lucky).

I got this on a lightning deal for 10 bucks. That's about what it's worth. It looks lightweight and cheapish, but not ugly. The picture is a pretty good image of what it is like.

On the downside, the chain arrived horribly tangled. I tried for almost 15 mins to get the tangle out, then handed it over to my much more patient husband to do it.

This would make a sweet gift for a young girl--it has that innocent, but not pricey sort of look. An adult woman? Well, I don't think it would suit me. Looks too...flimsy and costumey for me.

I bought this as a present for my mother when it was on a deal of the day special. I'll send it back ASAP. It's gawdy-looking, has shape flaws (not really round) and the chain came wrapped in knots. The pendant is very, very, very small and the chain is thin. The pendant looks much better online. I'm disappointed.

I got this item for FREE (with the purchase of some earrings). And for that non-price, I can't complain. I actually got two of these and both had easily visible flaws on the pearls. The chains are very fragile. But, it's matches the delicate size of the pearl.
